She said, I love you.

He said, Nothing.


(As if there were just one
of each word and the one
who used it, used it up).

I like this. The last stanza seems almost completely unrelated, like a random fact, when put up against the scenario. But then you realize what it means, and the whole poem shows how much it hurts.
