The part that worries me is the fact that (if this is a ghazal as I assume it is) he's turned every line into a whole stanza.
"That is why Hafiz says: Bring your cup near me. For I am a Sweet Old Vagabond With an Infinite Leaking Barrel Of Light and Laughter and Truth That the Beloved has tied to my back."
Is a single line in Persian The second-to-last line in fact, since it contains the poet's name. It's a dense language, but not that much. Landinsky has to be adding stuff. :D
