I completely understand! I adore the fact that Yevtushenko's poetry translators are so amazing. It's really rare (in my experience) to find poems that are as beautiful in two languages. I'm in the process of trying to learn Russian (yes, that is the poets mother-tongue!) so I can read the poems in both languages.
I'm so thrilled you like the poems, frankly, I adore everything the man has ever written, and I also really enjoy people enjoying them! If that makes any sense! :]
