Looking for poems that deal with loss and death, basically to comfort for the ones left behind. My best friend's mother just died earlier today because of an aneurism and it is completely devastating.

Offering a not-so-poem in return-- it's actually a quote from J.D. Salinger's "A Girl I Knew", but this always pulled a heartstring.

"She wasn't doing a thing that I could see,
except standing there, leaning on the balcony railing,
holding the universe together."
