Parking Lot

It was the way
my thigh felt against
the cool car hood
that made me
like you so
And it was the way
a risk can run down
a spine that made
my blood race
as a few bleary eyes
stumbled to their cars
unaware
And it was the way
you took me with such
strength and stretched
me between the
moon and a Chevrolet
that made me
crave you so
It was the way
my thigh felt against
the cool car hood
that made me
like you so
And it was the way
a risk can run down
a spine that made
my blood race
as a few bleary eyes
stumbled to their cars
unaware
And it was the way
you took me with such
strength and stretched
me between the
moon and a Chevrolet
that made me
crave you so

Date: 2003-11-06 04:46 pm (UTC)next time, post from Beau Sia's spoof of Jewel (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0966204298/qid=1068165794//ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i3_xgl14/002-4526819-2728000?v=glance&s=books&n=507846). That's great poetry. :)

others. I don't think she should be looked down upon
simply because she achieved success through her music.
I have that collection of poetry and find much of it good.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinons.

Date: 2003-11-06 06:04 pm (UTC)I think this is crap. Her grammar is terrible, which could be forgivable if it didn't lead to atrocities like this:
And it was the way
a risk can run down
a spine that made
my blood race
as a few bleary eyes
stumbled to their cars
unaware
Bleary eyes do not stumble to their cars, aware or unaware.
