And Julia’s voice was lost, except in sighs,
Until too late for useful conversation;
The tears were gushing from her gentle eyes,
I wish, indeed, they had not had occasion;
But who, alas! can love, and then be wise?
Not that remorse did not oppose temptation;
A little still she strove, and much repented,
And whispering “I will ne’er consent”--consented

what a delightful lil story on Lord Byron...indeed!

my first family dog was named bear...b/c of his size...i was just a baby and don't really remember him...and we didn't have any other 4 legged pets after him...but figured it was an odd lil story to go with yours...maybe a little fitting...dog=bear

and Byron is VERY interesting...romantic, dark, quirky, deep...enjoy the exploration of his work...
