I would like to know what everyone thinks about this so please reply and I'll tally.

I post a poem everyday in my own journal and when I do I usually attach a picture to express the poem a little more and how it means to me. Is this something that you would like to see here? Art as well? If we decide this people would have the option of posting a poem with a picture or just the poem alone. This is something I would like to try. So please let me know what you think.

You chose the most wonderful pictures to go with the poems. You know I'm a big fan of them already. So, yes! More art, please! :)

picture or no picture

It doesn't really matter to me one way or the other. Maybe you should make the pics a bit smaller though. To have a huge pic and then a long poem, none of which are behind LJ cuts, makes it so that some people get annoyed and just scroll past rather than actually reading the poem. I think you choose beautiful pics and they help to draw attention to the poetry...and anything that draws attention to poetry is good :)

I personally do not like pictures posted with poems because it detracts from the poem, making the poem almost like a companion piece to the picture. But if done well, I don't disagree.

Also, if you do this, maybe put the picture in the LJ Cut thing so it won't show up unless you click to see it.

ooops, sorry, i'm late -- this post slipped by me. i like the pictures a lot and have no problem with them on my friends page. whether you decide to run them with the poems or to put them behind an lj-cut, i'm happy. :)
